The second phase of the $1.3 billion grant was awarded from the Obama Administration last week to twelve manufacturing community partnerships.  Southeastern Michigan is one of them.  Cities within Michigan, like Detroit, Flint, Lansing, Ann Arbor and Pontiac highly invest and focus on auto research that helps build and strengthen automation technology for safer travels on the roads as well as passenger safety from point A to point B.  What does this mean for recycling Tungsten Carbide?  "Manufactures" will be in a steady production to produce parts, tools, etc., which in return will end up as scrap material or scrap carbide.
